Option 1: Handheld Shower Heads

  1. Disconnect: Unscrew your handheld shower head from the shower hose.
  2. Install: Thread the GETRINSD Filter onto the hose, then attach the shower head to the other end of the filter.
  3. Secure: Ensure all connections are hand-tight.
  4. Seal: If any weeping occurs, apply the included plumber’s tape to the threads for a watertight seal.

Option 2: Fixed Wall-Mounted Showers

  1. Remove: Unscrew your existing shower head from the wall arm/pipe.
  2. Install: Attach the GETRINSD Filter directly to the wall arm, then thread your shower head onto the filter.
  3. Secure: Tighten firmly by hand.
  4. Seal: Use the provided plumber’s tape on the threaded joints if needed to ensure a leak-free connection.

How to recycle

How to Recycle Your GETRINSD Filter

Once your filter has reached the end of its lifespan, please follow these steps to ensure it is recycled responsibly:

1. Disassemble

Unscrew the filter casing from your shower setup. If the casing is a "sealed" unit, check if the top or bottom caps can be removed to access the interior.

2. Remove Internal Components

  • O-Rings: Remove any rubber gaskets or silicone O-rings, as these are generally not recyclable with plastics.

3. Rinse the Casing

Give the plastic PP (Polypropylene) casing a quick rinse to remove any leftover residue.

4. Check Your Local Guidelines

The casing is made from Grade 5 (PP) Plastic. While most street side recycling programs accept Plastic #5, we recommend checking your local council’s website to ensure they process polypropylene in your area.

5. Place in the Bin

Place the clean, empty plastic casing into your recycling bin.

Eco-Tip: If your local street side program doesn't take #5 plastics, many "hard plastic" collection points at community centers or specialty recycling hubs will gladly accept them.
